Pura Lana Vergine

Pura Lana Vergine

Franco Grignani

1964

An elegant abstraction of a wool ball, the fibers interwoven in a beautiful circular and symmetric pattern. This is one of the most well-known trademarks and perhaps the best one so far. I really appreciate how much Grignani was able to convey with just a small smattering of lines that have precise mathematical precision. Perfect representation of Italian design in the 1960s.
